In this video I will show you probably the simplest and most popular melody in the whole wide world.
VERSE
A grasshopper sat in the grass.
It's played with one finger on one string and it's all very simple.
But nevertheless even for this we will need tablature.
Tablature is a diagram that shows you where to place your fingers.
So for example the tablature has numbers like 5505040 and so on.
The melody is played on the thinnest bottom string
If there's a five, it means we need to place a finger on the fifth fret.
If there's a zero, it means you don't need to place it anywhere.
